Deborah C. Michalowski, CPA
Deb Michalowski is the Reporting, SOX, and BPM manager within the Global Tax Group at Intel Finance in Chandler, Ariz. As a business process management and controls expert, she drives the modernization of data analysis and visualization projects with AI and robotic process automation. In her citizenship leadership role, Michalowski spearheads a global team of volunteers for Intel Finance’s Finance Professional Certification Program, which provides cross-site CPE events, information regarding certifications, and acumen-building networking opportunities. Before joining Intel, she founded a management accounting consulting and tax preparation company in Arizona, acting as president with two partners.
Michalowski has been an IMA member since 2007, serving in various leadership roles at the chapter and council levels, including president of both the AZ Valley of the Sun Chapter and the Wild West Council. At the global level, Michalowski has chaired the IMA Conference Committee and served on the IMA Committee on Ethics for five years, acting as chair for three years. She is a member of IMA’s Volunteer Leadership Standing Board Committee, previously having served on the Performance Oversight and Audit Standing Board Committee and as chair of the Audit Subcommittee.
Michalowski received her bachelor's degree in financial management with a concentration in accounting from Clemson University in 1983. She became a CPA in Arizona in 2008 and a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt at Intel Corporation in 2019.
