Akomu Omoye Okoh, CMA, CSCA, CA
Akomu Omoye Okoh is currently a lead analyst at Chevron Nigeria Limited. Since joining Chevron in 2011, Omoye has worked in Nigeria and the U.S. across various roles with increasing responsibilities, including compliance and internal controls, financial services, project accounting for major capital projects, general accounting, and treasury. She has also coordinated finance training and digital transformation teams. She began her career 17 years ago with PwC in Nigeria as an associate and, subsequently, as a treasury analyst at Zenith Bank, Nigeria.
Omoye earned her B.Sc., with honors, in accounting from the University of Benin in Nigeria and her MBA, with distinction, from Bradford University School of Management in the U.K. She is a CMA® (Certified Management Accountant), a CSCA® (Certified in Strategy and Competitive Analysis), and an award-winning fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.
As a member of the IMA Global Board of Directors, Omoye serves on the Global Markets Standing Board Committee. Omoye currently serves as Chair of the ICMA Board of Regents, where she has been a member since 2018; she was also an executive member of IMA’s Houston Chapter in 2017. Omoye is a proud mom to four-year-old Asher and an avid supporter of the Manchester United Football Club.
